The first is for a wedding on a boat. ON A BOAT!! The Liberty Clipper Ship leaving out of Boston Harbor to be exact. A message in a bottle feels so appropriate but still so unexpected to have sitting in your mailbox. Here’s what it looked like!!

I have a special place in my heart for a creative Save the Date magnet too. Here’s two examples with some advanced photoshop work. One of a 2012 couple, avid hikers and outdoorsy types that DIYed theirs and the other one is from my wedding last year that I digitally sketched from a photograph.

Just so you know a creative Save the Date always gets that excitement quotient nice and high and is a sure fire keeper for your guests (and your honored photographer!!)

They needed a super quick turnaround and we were able to squeeze in a quick Saturday morning shoot setup in a living room.

Katie & Steve needed a Save the Date photo sent out to announce their February 2013 wedding.

We shot these at their venue, the Log Cabin in Easthampton, MA. Look out for their engagement session we’re planning on shooting at the Big E in September!!

Kate & Craig’s wedding is right around the corner and we shot some amazing portraits right in their own backyard!

Audrey & Jeff’s wedding isn’t till April 2013 but we couldn’t wait to get out and shoot some engagement photos.

We snapped this photo just after sunset on Sunday night in Copley Square.

4. With a pre-ceremony First Look we had tons of time for portraits. Getting off to photographing among this gorgeous stand of trees, flagging down a cab to take us to the river and another set outside Kendall station.

Here’s a look at our tour of some favorite places: their church, friends’ houses and catching some evening light at Horn Pond.

Their new pride and joy is baby Daniel. Check out this cute little Red Sox fan.

That’s more or less what I learned about what Ryan, an avid fisherman, thinks of Melissa.

She can’t seem to stop smiling when she’s around him and they make a good looking pair. These two, Ben and myself stopped at some favorite and sentimental Boston locations in preparation for their June wedding. We visited Castle Island first; it was steps away from where they shared an apartment. Then we stopped into Ned Devine’s in Faneuil Hall for a drink and some city scenes.

Lots of reasons to look forward to the summer, this is one of them!!
